“Transfusion + Open Fields” Solo Art Show at Gallery Nikola Radošević, September 2023
From September 2 to 17, 2023, Ana Maria Gower will be exhibiting the works from two series Transfusion and Open Fields in Galerija Nikola Radošević in Belgrade, Serbia.
Transfusion series explores the abstract concept of potential through the symbolism of branching structures, tracking their presence in a variety of contexts ranging from pure abstraction to nature-inspired forms and cultural collages.
Open Fields is a series of abstract landscapes serving as windows into the fields of color. Each painting is an intuitive reinterpretation of a classic landscape, delicately capturing the essence of the work through the vocabulary of non-figurative art.
Additionally, the exhibition will include a collection of 3D “found objects” sculptures, assembled for the present exhibition, further developing the metaphors of Transfusion and Open Fields.
Both Transfusion and Open Fields are exhibited in Belgrade for the first time ever.
